I'm Anne-Charlotte
I'm Anne-Charlotte Patterson, a creative director and communications consultant focused helping clients flourish by building stand-out brands and bridging connections between government, community, and creative economies. As a leader in the arts community and a professional dancer, being based in the the innovation mecca of Austin, Texas (and occasionally Rio de Janeiro) brings me daily inspiration.

For two decades, I've helmed a boutique design and digital marketing studio located in, and inspired by, the creative mecca of Austin, Texas. Working primarily in the higher ed, advocacy, and non-profit spaces, I’ve had the good fortune to partner with organizations and leaders whose endeavors I admire tremendously.

SOME FAVORITE PROJECTS:
hips don't lie.
As a Rio-trained samba dancer, I've had the incredible joy of performing at Carnaval Brasiliero, ACL Fest, and numerous other high-profile events throughout Austin; as well as parading as an international sambista with samba schools in the legendary Sambódromo during Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro.
Austin Samba is the largest samba organization outside of Brazil, and I'm proud to be part of the leadership team and the booking agent for this talented group of dancers and musicians. I'm also the founder and director of my own small dance company SambaLinda, which performs Latin dance, funk, and of course Rio-style samba.
Communication, connections & advocacy.
An intuitive communications professional who will dream with you and fight for you, my creative and strategic approach to problem-solving and bridge-building helps clients transform their hopes and plans into meaningful realities. Having served as chair & vice-chair of the Austin Music Commission, a Downtown Commissioner, and a consultant for political and grassroots campaigns, my expertise comes from the real world. My foundation in municipal policy and community advocacy is balanced with imagination and curiosity about what's possible – where others see conflict and zero sum, I see opportunities for collaboration and mutual success.
